Gilly Kahn, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults with anxiety and depression, in addition to adjustment, school, and social challenges. Specific difficulties include obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, social anxiety, depression, and parenting stress. Dr. Kahn specializes in improving emotion-regulation and social skills with autistic or ADHD children and teens.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative and family-oriented. She generally uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention, with an emphasis on the client’s goals. Dr. Kahn is fluent in Hebrew and can work with Hebrew-speaking clients. Dr. Kahn started and runs the Pre+Teen Social Skills group at ASoA.
Dr. Kahn is originally from South Florida (Go Canes!). She moved to Atlanta with her family last year because, well, there is no better place to live. Dr. Kahn loves spending time outside and exploring new places with her family, which includes her amazing husband and two children who reliably keep life exciting and full of unplanned exercise.

- 2012: Earned B.A. in Psychology and Creative Writing from the University of Miami
- 2014: Earned M.A. in Experimental Psychology (Focus: Developmental Psychology) from Florida Atlantic University
- 2018-2019: Completed Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) training at the UHealth Mailman Center for Child Development
- 2019-2020: Completed Predoctoral Internship at Citrus Health Network in Hialeah, FL
- 2020: Earned Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University
- 2020-2021: Completed Postdoctoral Fellowship at Peachtree Pediatric Psychology in Sandy Springs, Ga
- 2021: Completed Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) introductory training through the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s TRIAD
- 2021: Obtained licensure as a psychologist in the State of Georgia
- 2021: Joined Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta
- 2022: Completed Yale Child Study Center SPACE Training
