Cameron Mosley, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist, specializing in work with children, teens, and young adults. Dr. Mosley has received specialized training and supervision in the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and prides herself in providing evidence-based care.

Dr. Mosley primarily works with patients experiencing an anxiety-spectrum disorder. She uses exposure therapy to treat anxiety disorders (e.g., generalized anxietypanic disordersocial anxietyseparation anxiety) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) to treat Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Illness Anxiety Disorder. She also works with individuals experiencing depression and mild eating disorder symptoms. Dr. Mosley is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and can work with individuals who have graduated from a DBT program and are seeking treatment for an anxiety disorder.

Dr. Mosley is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a behavioral treatment for disruptive behavior in young children ages 2 to 7. Additionally, she is trained in PCIT, a treatment for young children with Selective Mutism (SM). Through PCIT, she coaches parents and helps them learn to shape their child’s behavior.

During her training in the Bay Area, Dr. Mosley worked with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, such as the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants and non-native English speakers, and individuals from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds. She has training in specific populations, such as individuals on the autism spectrum and those experiencing chronic or acute medical conditions.

Dr. Mosley is passionate about using the latest scientific advances in psychology to enhance treatment for her patients and families. She serves as an Adjunct Professor for Mercer University’s College of Health Professions. Along with academic pursuits, she uses social media to connect with clinicians and patients, sharing evidence-based strategies for mental health.

Dr. Mosley is originally from the metro-Atlanta area. After moving around the country for her training, she is thrilled to return to Atlanta. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places (restaurants, concert venues, parks, etc.) at home and through traveling.

  • 2013: Received a B.A. in Psychology from Auburn University (War eagle!)
  • 2017: Earned an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University (APA-accredited)
  • 2019: Completed a Predoctoral Internship in Professional Psychology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (APA-accredited)
  • 2019: Earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University (APA-accredited)
  • 2020: Completed certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • 2020: Completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology at Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia
  • 2020: Obtained license to practice psychology in the state of Georgia
  • 2020: Joined Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta
