Dr. Shanee Toledano is a Licensed Psychologist, specializing in treatments for OCD and anxiety disorders including social anxiety, specific phobiaseparation anxietyhealth anxiety, and panic disorder. Dr. Toledano enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults and provides evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response-Prevention (ERP). She is also certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

Dr. Toledano has worked with individuals with OCD and anxiety since 2012 when she began specialized training with the University of Florida OCD Program. Since obtaining licensure as a psychologist, Dr. Toledano has practiced in a variety of settings, including schools, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. Dr. Toledano has helped develop and lead programs, having held roles as a Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director in a multidisciplinary treatment setting. Dr. Toledano has also taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses and presented at conferences including the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and Georgia Psychological Association (GPA). Dr. Toledano currently holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor with the Emory University Psychology Department. She values connecting with and advocating for the OCD community outside of clinical practice and has volunteered as a Board Member of OCD Georgia since 2019.

Dr. Toledano grew up in the Atlanta area and loves Southern food and Georgia weather (even the humid Summers!). In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys yoga, fantasy books, and coffee.

  • 2016: Obtained Certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Therapist credential
  • 2017: Completed Post-Doctoral Residency at Emory University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
  • 2017: Obtained Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential
  • 2017: Licensed as a Psychologist in Georgia
  • 2017-2019: School Psychologist for Cobb County School Systems
  • 2019-2020: Lead OCD/Anxiety Track Psychologist at Skyland Trail Adolescent Program
  • 2020-2021: Licensed Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor at Rogers Behavioral Health (Atlanta)
  • 2021-2022: Clinical Director at Rogers Behavioral Health (Atlanta)
  • 2022: Joined Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta as Staff Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor
