Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta, LLC is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Practice Manager.

Located about 20 minutes north of Atlanta, GA, in the suburbs of Dunwoody, we are a dedicated anxiety and OCD specialty outpatient clinic, with subspecialties in treating pediatric anxiety, selective mutism, health anxiety, body-focused repetitive disorders, complex traumas, and eating disorders. Our team relies exclusively on evidence-based interventions primarily driven by CBT, ACT, PCIT, and DBT, with an emphasis on ERP, ACT, and exposure therapy for OCD and anxiety disorders. We offer individual, group, couples, parent-focused, and family-based treatment, as well as telehealth services to Georgia residents living in underserved regions. Several of our psychologists are PSYPACT® approved, making it possible for us to provide telehealth services in over 40 PSYPACT®-eligible states. We have a steady referral base and a very flexible work schedule in a beautiful office environment.

With the expansion of our team, our reach, and our services, we are now looking to fill the position of assistant practice manager, reporting directly to the practice manager and the practice owner, and working in support of over 20 mental health providers.

The Assistant Practice Manager’s primary roles and responsibilities are to:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the leadership team at Anxiety Specialists software Atlanta (CEO, Directors, and Practice Manager)
  • Provide primary administrative support for clerical or office-related needs
  • Serve as a point of contact, engagement, and support for the clients, patients, and families served at Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta
  • Serve as the primary backup to the Practice Manager (when sick or on vacation; requiring more hours per week)
  • Model and provide first class customer service internally and externally

Specific functions and expectations include but are not limited to:

  • Bring a high level of kindness, enthusiasm, patience, and compassion to all staff, clients, customers and organizations
  • Possess strong social skills to serve in a customer facing role for new patients, current patients, and organizations we engage with
  • Possess deep knowledge of all the services and resources the company offers to be able to disseminate this on an regular needed basis
  • Support the scheduling and assignment of new and current patients/clients
  • Manage and Respond to Managed Care Organization (MCO) requests
  • Serve as primary POC between Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta, LLC and various vendors we use for utilities, software prog I am about to post, building leasing company for office related support, maintenance, and services
  • Support company projects to include documentation creation and management
  • Maintain personnel files on employees
  • Learn Practice Manager duties (i.e., serve in a customer facing role) and be prepared to serve as lead backup to this role (e.g., responding to customer requests, following up with new patient inquiries, create new patient accounts and intake appointments, etc)
  • Follow and reinforce policies and procedures of Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta, LLC

Compensation, Benefits, and Professional Support

  • Salary, with Hourly Rate ranging between $22/hr -$28/hr
  • Part-time Role: As a W-2, you will be offered a starting minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing.
  • Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9am-1pm, and this role can function in the office or fully remote or hybrid
  • Annual Eligible Benefits (see Compensation and Benefits Handbook for full details): no current benefits are being offered in a part-time (under 25 hours/week) status.
    • Once you exceed 25 hours per week), you are eligible for 5 days of accrued PTO annually
    • Once you are in a full time role, and have worked > 1,000 hours and have been employed for at least 1 year, you are eligible for full benefits (including 401k with 3.5% employer contribution (fully vested in 2 years), 10 days Accrued PTO, 8 paid holidays per year)
