ARFID SUPPORT GROUP

This one-time free workshop is for adults with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) and parents of children with ARFID to learn more about this diagnosis and how it is treated.
Led by Dr. Megan Faye, an ARFID specialist, we’ll discuss the different ways ARFID can present along with tools for eating a wider variety of foods in a wider variety of settings. This workshop will also provide a Q&A section so that you can get the information you need to help yourself and your loved ones.

WHO: Adults anywhere in the U.S. who have family members or loved ones 13+ who struggle with OCD.

COST: FREE (USE secure one-time Zoom link at the BOTTOM)

CONTACT:  Dr. Megan Faye will lead these groups. If you have any questions, contact her at drfaye@anxietyatl.com

When: June 23, 2022 6-730pm EST.

This is not a treatment group, it’s a workshop. We will not be assessing or diagnosing family members, and the expectation is that the family member in question has been diagnosed with and/or is being treated for ARFID. We will be discussing the do’s and don’ts of supporting a loved one with ARFID. We will discuss family accommodations, treatment considerations, and self-care in the process.
