This group is a space for adults with misophonia to learn targeted tools for managing sound triggers and related distress.
Group leader Dr. Megan Faye will teach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for managing symptoms of misophonia, using the latest misophonia treatment research to inform the strategies used. Members will engage in in-session and at-home homework practice to help practice these skills in daily life, while also collaborating and connecting with other group members who relate to their experience of misophonia.
