ABOUT

Hailee Dear, LMSW, is Licensed as a Master of Social Work, specializing in treating  obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, separation anxiety, specific phobias, health anxiety, generalized anxiety, and panic disorder. Hailee also has experience in helping to manage co-existing depressive disorders. Hailee has completed extensive training in utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response-prevention (ERP) while working at Rogers Behavioral Health. Hailee enjoys working with children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults. Hailee enjoys working with parents and families to assist their loved ones to live a life no longer dictated by OCD or anxiety. Hailee also has expertise working with young adults still living at home that have difficulty transitioning to independent living.

Hailee has worked with children, adolescents, and adults and their families for the past 4 years. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospice, federal prison, and a community mental health agency. Most recently, Hailee has worked at a partial hospitalization program (PHP) focusing on acute children and adolescents struggling with OCD and anxiety. Hailee currently has her LMSW and will be license eligible for her LCSW in June 2023. Hailee has worked with children/adolescents that have previously been resistant to treatment and provides parental coaching to families. Hailee also has experience with children/adolescents that struggle with school refusal, leaving school early, and children/adolescents that require a large amount of parental accommodation. Hailee’s approach to therapy is a systems approach that includes the whole family. Until she is independently licensed, she will be supervised by Dr. Josh Spitalnick, Practice Owner.

Hailee grew up in South Florida and moved to Atlanta in 2012. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and reading as much as she can.
