Consultation Services Provided to Individual Adults, as well as Families and Loved Ones Supporting an Individual (child or adult) with OCD, Anxiety, and Related Problem Areas
Brief No-cost Consultations
For anyone considering starting treatment with our team, we offer an initial no-cost, brief (15 min) phone/video call that can be conducted prior to scheduling the initial diagnostic evaluation session to determine the appropriateness of the referral question, likelihood of fit for our services, and to answer your questions not covered in these materials. For most patients or families, this call will not be necessary but remains an available service for anyone interested.
Single Session Consultations for Treatment Planning Guidance
Offered by our Practice Owner, Dr. Spitalnick, senior level clinicians, and our Clinical Directors, these consultations, in person, by phone or video, are designed to address clinical care recommendations, treatment planning, coordination of care, connection with mental health providers, and/or education about our disorders and treatment. No formal assessment, review of past records, written report, or diagnosis will be provided on behalf of the primary client. However, any resources or educational materials discussed will be provided via email. These are scheduled for 30 minutes or 60 minutes and must be scheduled for and paid for in advance.
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) Consultations
SPACE is a therapeutic intervention done directly with parents, without children involved, to help children with social anxiety, separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, specific fears/phobias, panic disorder, selective mutism, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This can be a single consultation with the caregiver of the child or a series of consultations depending on the severity and need of presenting problems.
Offered by our SPACE-trained parenting specialist, these consultations, by phone or video, are designed to address clinical care recommendations, treatment planning, coordination of care, connection with mental health providers, and/or education on parenting children with anxiety and OCD. No formal assessment, review of past records, written report, or diagnosis will be provided on behalf of the primary client but resources and recommendations can be sent. At the end of the consultation, the clinician aims to have given parents a viable direction for finding anxiety and OCD treatment options for their child. Additionally, this consultation can also serve as direction for practicing clinicians on approaching complex pediatric anxiety cases with parent-focused interventions in mind.
If you have any questions about the Consultation Services for clients and/or their families, please contact us and provide your contact information and which service you are specifically requesting information on, and one of our clinical directors or practice managers will be in touch with you shortly.
