This is also where he began working with Boulder Mental Health Services as a volunteer youth advocate. From there, his academic journey brought him to Berkeley, California where he completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at the Wright Institute. Dr. Mohammadioun recently concluded his pre-doctoral internship at Arizona State University where he provided psychotherapy and crisis intervention to students.

While completing his doctoral degree, he worked as a counselor at local schools and community clinics where he provided both onsite and in-home treatment to children with cognitive and/or physical special needs. He has a wealth of professional experience providing individual and group therapy to adolescents as well as adults. Dr. Mohammadioun strives to incorporate humor into his work while encouraging a sense of willingness to approach life’s challenges.

Dr. Mohammadioun is an Atlanta native who has lived in Colorado, California, and Arizona. When he is not working with clients you may find him searching for the next backpacking destination or standup comedy performance.
