WHO: Parents of anxious children
COST: $100 per group ($600 total for all groups), must attend all 6 weeks

This group – led by Marti Munford, LPC – is designed to help parents and caregivers who are raising children with anxiety and OCD. This group is based on the parent-based protocol outlined by Yale University’s empirically supported S.P.A.C.E program (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Together, we will walk through the process of parenting the anxious child through recognition and reduction of parent accommodation as well as communicating confidence, validation, and support to your child.
This group will begin with a first session interactive psychoeducational event on August 15, 2024 at 1130am (on zoom)
Six (6) sessions will be delivered in small-group format, held on Thursdays from 11:30am-1pm beginning August 15th through September 19th, 2024.
Groups will meet via Zoom. Once you have registered, someone from Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta will contact you to confirm contact and family information and they will provide all meeting details. Payments will take place weekly as the meetings happen through our patient portal even if you miss a session.
