Pre-Licensed Providers


Adam Jaffe, LMSW, is Licensed as a Master of Social Work and relies primarily on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy as modalities of treatment services. He completed his internship in CBT at Skyland Trail in Atlanta. Adam has completed multi-day ERP trainings through The Knowledge Tree for the treatment of OCD and specific phobias under the expertise of Dr. Patrick McGrath. Adam also relies on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other mindfulness-based approaches. Adam works with older children, adolescents, and adults, and specializes in treating obsessive-compulsive disorderpanic disordersocial anxietyspecific phobiasas well as other common challenges and fears adolescents and young adults struggle with, including performance anxiety, school/work stress, and relationship difficulties.

He comes to the field with a background as a classical musician and piano teacher and his career change was inspired partly by his experiences helping students to overcome performance anxiety. He is being supervised by Dr. Chris N0ble, one of the senior staff therapists who is also a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS) and serves as Director of Supervision.  Adam is an Atlanta native who attended the Galloway School before studying piano performance at Carnegie Mellon University; he additionally was a Fulbright scholar at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, Netherlands, where he studied harpsichord and early music performance.

After returning to Atlanta, he completed his Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia. In addition to his passion for psychotherapy, Adam continues to pursue a wide variety of interests, including music, acting, improv, creative writing, and crosswords. He speaks French and Dutch fluently.

  • 2019-2020: Intern at Clarke County Dept. of Family and Children Services
  • 2020-2021: Clinical Internship, CBT Track – Skyland Trail Residential Mental Health Treatment and Day Treatment (Atlanta, Ga)
  • 2021: Received a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Georgia
  • 2021: Completed multi-day courses and workshops to be a specialized provider in treating OCD with ERP from The Knowledge Tree and
  • 2021: Joined Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta
  • 2021: Completed specialized training to treat Anxiety and OCD in times of Uncertainty  by Dr.Patrick McGrath
  • 2021: Obtained License to practice as a Master of Social Work (LMSW)
