***Updated COVID-19 Policies and Procedures–Effective July 29, 2021***

We hope that you and those close to you have been safe and healthy during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Your medical health is just as important to us as your mental health. We are doing our best to keep you and our entire staff from the spread of Coronavirus, including following the recommended guidelines from the CDC and other agencies regarding sanitizing our office.  Please assist us in these efforts by also following all recommended guidelines to prevent the spread of disease.

All Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta, LLC therapists are fully vaccinated. Most providers now offer both in-person and telehealth sessions while we are maintaining safe conditions within our office. Telehealth technology continues to be offered securely and confidentially though our patient portal (Simple Practice) through the software “Telehealth.” For instructions or questions about this technology, you should already have access to the document titled “COVID-19 Telehealth Service Policy 3-14-20.pdf” in the patient portal (if you don’t, please let us know and we can provide it to you). If you have any further questions, please contact our Practice Manager Jessica Kalin at 678-825-2320.

Formal psychoeducational or psychodiagnostic assessment procedures are taking place in the office and through telehealth unless otherwise discussed specifically with our staff.

Entering the Building:

We have policies and procedures in place (per CDC guidelines) to keep our staff and patients/guests safe.

For Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta, LLC staff:

When entering or working in the building, clinical or administrative staff will be asked to:

  • Keep front door locked at all times
  • Staff must meet patients/guests at the door or in parking lot and escort them personally back to your office and back out of your office
  • Sanitizing hands upon entry, with a sanitizing hand station inside the front door
  • Wear a face mask in common areas when with guests (disposable face masks are available upon request)
  • Disinfecting any shared clinical equipment and surfaces between sessions
  • Frequent hand washing – as needed

***No staff are permitted to enter our offices if any of the following have occurred:

  • If you have traveled internationally in the past 14 days
  • If you or household members have tested positively for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
  • If in the past seven days you or any household members have been in close contact with anyone who has been tested positively for COVID-19
  • **Staff who have received a positive COVID-19 test must get a negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test prior to returning to the office

For patients or guests visiting our offices in person, please do the following:

  • Check in for an appointment, which can be done several ways:
    1. Visit our Appointment check-in system on our website by going to the Patient Portal_tab and click on  Appointment Check-in (https://anxietyspecialistsofatlanta.com/check-in) (and bookmark this for future appointments) and check in for your appointment by answering the questions and clicking Send (your therapist receives an IMMEDIATE email notification)
    2. Scan the QR code on our front door by opening up your cell phone camera, put it over the QR code, and go the weblink that pops up. This also takes you to the Appointment Check-in system where you can let us know you are here.
    3. Go to the patient portal and send a secure message notifying your therapist of your arrival and location
    4. Please DO NOT use email or voicemail to notify your therapist
  • Patients/guests are asked to wait outside in your car or on the patio outside of our offices at 1360 or 1350 Center Drive, Suite 200, Dunwoody, GA 30338 and your therapist will come outside to greet you.
  • For guests/family members who are not part of the therapy session, we ask that you not enter our offices.
  • For guests/family members who will be involved in part of the session, you are welcome to sit in the waiting room wearing a mask regardless of your vaccination history.
  • All patients/guests/family members must wear facemasks upon entering our offices and in common areas (waiting room, bathroom)
  • For patients/guests/family members who are seen in person inside the office, you and the provider are currently required to be masked for the entirety of the session

*** Patients/guests/family members are NOT permitted to enter our offices if any of the following have occurred:

  1. If you have traveled internationally in the past 14 days
  2. If you or household members have tested positively for COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  3. If in the past seven days you or any household members have been in close contact with anyone who has been tested positively for COVID-19

***Patient/guest/family members who refuse to inform us of their vaccination record will ONLY be offered telehealth sessions

***We reserve the right to ask for documented proof of vaccination record for the safety and health of our staff, patients, and all of our families
