WHO: Parents of anxious children
COST: $110 per group ($550 total for all groups), must attend all 5 weeks and watch the free webinar by Marti Munford, LPC (live or watch it before attending the first group)

This group – led by Dr. Catherine Worthington – is designed to help parents and caregivers who are raising children with anxiety and OCD. This group is based on the parent-based protocol outlined by Yale University’s empirically supported S.P.A.C.E program (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Together, we will walk through the process of parenting the anxious child through recognition and reduction of parent accommodation as well as communicating confidence, validation, and support to your child.
This group will begin with a one-time psychoeducational webinar on Thursday, April 20th from 11:00am-12:30PM. This webinar is recorded and can be viewed by attendees live or asynchronously.
5 subsequent sessions will be delivered in small-group format, held on Thursdays from 11:00-12:30 PM beginning April 27th through May 25th, 2023.
Groups will meet via Zoom.
