Meredith Post, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor, who specializes in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders, including social anxietyspecific phobiashealth anxiety, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety,. Meredith also has experience in managing co-existing depressive disorders. Meredith enjoys working with adolescents and adults and provides evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response-Prevention (ERP). Meredith also relies on other mindfulness-based approaches. Meredith has expertise working with young adults who are having difficulty transitioning to independent living, as well as other common challenges including performance anxiety, school or work stress, and relationship difficulties.
Meredith has worked with adolescents, adults, and their families for the past four years. She has worked with students from grades 6-12 in a school setting. She has also worked with college students in a college counseling center. Most recently, Meredith has worked at a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) focusing on acute adults (ages 18+) struggling with OCD, anxiety, and depression. Meredith has experience working with adults that require a large amount of family accommodation. Meredith also has experience leading groups focused on DBT skills, mindfulness skills, OCD, generalized anxiety, and depression.
Meredith was born and raised in metro Atlanta. She loves spending time with her family, including taking her hound-mix, Penny, on long walks. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, concerts, college football, and drinking a nice cup of coffee.

  • 2020: Received extensive training in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD and anxiety in children, adolescents, and adults
  • 2020: Received extensive training in behavioral activation (BA) for the treatment of depression in children, adolescents, and adults
  • 2020-2023: Adult OCD/Anxiety/depression therapist and therapist preceptor at Rogers Behavioral Health in Atlanta, GA
  • 2021: Credentialed as a National Certified Counselor (NCC)
  • 2021: Licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in Georgia
  • 2023: Joined Anxiety Specialists of Atlanta as a Staff Therapist
  • 2023: Secured  licensure as a Licenced Professional Counselor (LPC)
