This year of growth has been the result of so many talented therapists who are dedicated to providing best practices to treat OCD, anxiety, and related problems areas. Dr. Katie Cullum embodies everything our team is about, including the integration of evidence-based therapists, various treatment modalities (e.g., individual therapy, group, intensive outpatient, and use of telehealth), and addressing the whole family system where necessary, as Dr. Cullum has specific interests in  couples and family therapy. Dr. Cullum’s clinical and research experiences emphasize behavioral treatments for OCD, anxiety, and emotion dysregulation, specifically: exposure with response prevention, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy.

Most recently, Dr. Cullum served as a post-doctoral fellow at Emory’s OCD Intensive Program, gaining specialized training in the assessment and treatment of obsessive-compulsive (OCD) and related disorders – such as body dysmorphic disorder, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety. she has utilized these skills in providing family therapy in the context of Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs). She has pursued opportunities to integrate her clinical work and research with my interests in advocacy and outreach for this community. For example, she co-developed and ran a monthly community workshop series for families of teens with OCD, within which she led a teen group. Additionally, she serves on the board of OCD Georgia, collaborating with other providers and individuals with lived experience.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Cullum joining the team and can’t wait to see what exciting and innovative services she brings to the Atlanta community in her new role with us.
